Flashing for VELUX roof windows

Flashings are essential for insulating the connection between the roof window and the roof. Only by using a flashing will water running off the roof surface be transported sideways around the roof window, preventing water, dust or snow from entering the roof. A flashing must be purchased separately for most of roof windows. Because roofing materials can very different, Velux tries to offer the right product for every roofing material.

Flashing and window's profile are made as standard of requiring no maintenance aluminum sheet in Grey (RAL 7043).

• Flashing for installing VELUX roof windows into flat and profiled roofing materials with thickness from 15 - 45mm in profile (from 4.5 cm height, select EDW).
• Suitable for roofing materials such as: Interlocking pantiles, flat roofing tiles, flat cremains, reform pantiles, Frankfurt pantiles, Taunus pantiles, flat tiles, Heidelberg pantiles, plain tiles in crown roofing.
• Suitable for roof pitches 20 - 90 degrees.

EDW

• Flashing for installing VELUX roof windows into flat and profiled roofing materials with thickness from 15-120mm in profile.
• Suitable for roofing materials such as: monastery tile, monastery tile, monk and nun, Florento tile, Mistral tile, Toledo tile as well as thatch, straw, corrugated sheets 5-, 6-, 8-wave, Berlin wave.
• Suitable for roof pitches 15 - 90 degrees.

EDT

• Flashing for installing VELUX roof windows into flat interlocking tiles with a max thickness from 15-40 mm.
• Suitable for flat tiles such as: Koramic Wienerberger Orea 9, Monier Braas Turmalin, Braas Teviva, Braas Reviva, Creaton Domino, Nelskamp Nibra, Wienerberger Koramic Acuta, Erlus Linea and many more.

Underfelt collar BFX 1000

The foil flashing serves as a reliable seal between the roof window and the sub-roof. The adjustable rain gutter directs water flowing down from above away from the roof window.

Insulation collar BDX 2000

In addition to the BFX 1000 connection collar (foil connection and water drainage gutter), includes an insulation frame made of flexible foam for a tight and secure fit on the roof structure.

Vapour Barrier BBX

The vapor barrier apron provides an airtight and vapor-tight connection to the roof-side airtight layer and vapor barrier (including adhesive tape). Foil collar matched to the window size with welded corners and clamping profiles.
