Atlas Stopter K-50 - 2 in 1 | white adhesive for fixing EPS, mineralwool boards and for mesh embedding

Atlas Stopter K-50 - VIP adhesive: White adhesive for external wall in thermal insulation. Proper for mineral wool and expanded polystyrene (white, graphite-enhanced and with addition of graphite). No priming masses under renders required - the unique structure of hardened adhesive creates a layer that provides a strong bond to thin-coat render, and white cement minimizes the risk of discolouration on the render surface.

Properties

• Excellent adhesion – strongly bonds to problematic substrates, such as surfaces with well-bonded paint coats
• Water vapour permeability – does not restrict water vapour transmission through the insulated wall
• Very good working properties – during mixing, application to panels, mesh embedding etc.

Consumption

Exact material consumption per unit area depends on the properties of the substrate (e.g. roughness) and the technique of panel installation.

• EPS panel installation: between 4.0 and 5.0 kg/m2.
• Reinforced layer application: between 3.0 and 3.5 kg/m2.
• MW panel installation: between 4.5 and 5.5 kg/m2.
• Reinforced layer application: between 5.5 and 6.5 kg/m2.
