Atlas Salta E is an acrylic façade paint recommended for surfaces exposed to pollution and high functional load. Due to high abrasion resistance and low absorptiveness, it is perfect for places exposed to these factors: on facades of schools, shops, sport facilities, buildings situated along communication routes, for staircases, corridors, etc.
- outstanding colour durability;
- perfectly coating and efficient;
- highly resistant to contamination with algae;
- self – cleaning ability ;
- 400 colors (SAH palette).
- Recommended for surfaces exposed to high thermal load: due to elasticity and high resistance to cracks and scratches, it compensates strain resulting from different heat expansion of layers beneath, e.g. present in sunlit facades.
- Can be used as decorative and protective coat.
Types of painted substrates
- cement plasters;
- cement-lime plasters;
- thin-coat mineral and dispersion renders;
- gypsum rough walls of concrete;
- bricks, blocks and ceramic or silicate hollow bricks.
Types of painted buildings
- residential, detached and multi-family houses;
- industrial, public access, outbuildings.
Properties
Low water absorption: protects the painted substrate against humidity permeating from the outside.
Perfect functional parameters: resistant to ageing, precipitation and all kinds of aggressive substances present both in the substrate and the natural environment.
Good coating properties.
Self–cleaning ability: creates surface resistant to adhesion of pollution – the paint surface is extremely consistent, microscopically smooth, due to which particles of dirt, algae and fungi spores easily lose contact with the wall and are naturally removed by rain and wind.
Creates smooth and matt surface: no wrinkles, cracks or gloss.
Colour durability: the application of modern pigments and fillers provides freedom in the façade colour selection and keeping it in an unchanged form for many years.
Application in lowered temperatures (from 0°C) and high humidity (up to ca. 80%): after adding Atlas Eskimo agent.
Consumption
1 l of paint for ca. 7 m² (on smooth surfaces)
Consumption depends on, i. e. substrate absorptiveness and painted surface structure. It is recommended to determine the exact consumption basing on a sample. The approximate standard consumption for one coat painting of renders and plasters is listed in the table below:
Render/plaster type | Consumption for 1 m2 | Consumption of 1l |
mineral (e.g. Cermit SN, DR, and SN-MAL, ND and ND for painting | ca. 0.25 l | ca. 4.0 m2 |
dispersion (e.g. Cermit N & R, SAH renders) | ca. 0.22 l | ca. 5.0 m2 |
traditional (e.g. Atlas Plastering Mix, Atlas Rekord grey | ca. 0.15 l | ca. 7.0÷8.0 m2 |
- Acrylic
