MXT vapour permeable membrane with insulating wool ensures durable connection with the roof construction and provides a complete protection for installed window. It also limits formation of thermal bridges through insulation of roof windows from the outside and drains the moisture from the area around roof window. Design of the flashing allows its direct installation on battens, irrespective of distances between them and their thickness. Appropriate corner connection ensures complete watertightness of the flashing.
As standard, vapour permeable flashing comes additionally with insulating material in the form of sheep wool tress which is used for insulation around the window. Natural and environment friendly, specially impregnated sheep wool features optimal density and high elasticity, hence it fills properly the space between the window and roof construction elements. The tress can be easily cut and formed.
Features:
- enables quick, easy and proper connection between roofing membrane and window as well as its insulation
- protects insulation material installed around the window against moisture
- does not require removal of battens and cutting counter-battens
- reduces thermal bridging and ensures additional window insulation
